Consent policy

DeepFakeAI clones only people who agree, and we designed the product so that's the only thing it can do.

DeepVideo (from a video)

Every uploaded video is checked for exactly one face, against a public-figure index, and for apparent age. A cloned voice always comes from a recording made live on the user's device, never from an uploaded file. It also requires a live consent read: the person reads a sentence containing a one-time code, on webcam or phone, inside our page. We check that the code was spoken and that the face in the read matches the face in the uploaded video. Uploaded consent videos are not accepted.

Someone else

To make a DeepVideo of another person, that person receives a link and does the read on their own device. Without it, the avatar is never activated.

Marking and logs

All output is marked as AI-generated (visible watermark on free, provenance metadata on all), and every generation is logged, so if a clip is misused we can show what was and wasn't made here.

Reports

Anyone can report a clip. We act within 24 hours and confirm by email.
