What DeepFakeAI is

DeepFakeAI makes short talking-head clips from a video of a person who has agreed to it, or from our own characters, using their own voice or a synthetic one. It is run by [Company Ltd], registered in England and Wales.

What you may not make

Clips of anyone who hasn't completed the consent read on their own device. Clips that are sexual, that depict minors, that impersonate someone to deceive (scams, fake endorsements, fake statements by public figures), that harass, or that break any law where you or the subject live. We check uploads automatically and we act on reports within 24 hours; accounts that break these rules are closed and, where the law requires it, reported.

Marking

Every clip carries a visible watermark on the free plan and provenance metadata on all plans identifying it as AI-generated. Removing or obscuring the metadata is a breach of these terms.

Your content

You own what you upload and what we make for you. You give us a licence to process it to provide the service. We keep uploads and clips until you delete them or your account; biometric data (face and voice samples) is deleted within 30 days of a deletion request.

Payments

Subscriptions renew monthly and can be cancelled in one click from My clips; cancelling stops the next renewal. Prices shown include VAT. Refunds within 14 days if you haven't generated a paid clip.

Liability

The service is provided as-is; we don't guarantee any clip will look a particular way. Our liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months, except where the law doesn't allow that limit.
